Texting has come a long way since the rise of smartphones. You can even say that there is a sort of “texting language” that has been created. Abbreviations and acronyms are understood easily. We would express emotion with the sideway smiley, for example –>
But with the advancing technology, we have grown past that. How do you express yourself when texting? How do you relay your thanks, apologies, sympathy, or excitement through technology? Rather than typing “LOL” to signify you are indeed laughing out load, why not add an emoji, emoticon or GIF that is indeed laughing out loud? It has a completely different effect. What a better way to communicate your feelings!

Path and MessageMe are growing messaging apps. They just released newer versions of the playful stickers.
