Harness The Power Of A Full Scanner in Your Pocket With ScannerPro 4!

April 13th, 2012 by Christen

Can you imagine a world where you no longer have to sort & log through business cards, receipts, invoices, lists and more on a daily basis?  What if you had the power of a full business card scanner, full document scanner and more in the convenient palm of your hand?

Imagine no more…

Scanner Pro transforms iPhone into portable scanner in your pocket. It lets you scan multipage documents, email them and even upload to Dropbox, MobileMe iDisk or any other WebDAV enabled server. Evernote integration is there too.

It isn’t the first app to introduce the concept of scanning documents with the iPhone camera. However, Scanner Pro is so good, that it instantly became the #1 business app in 20+ countries, and remained there for more than 2 years.  One of the best things about the new Scanner Pro is its simplicity. Less is more, isn’t it? Now, the focus is on the document, this is where all design changes were made. Want to crop the image? The new iPad screen is great, so you don’t need to have a magnifying glass to nail the edge. Want to reorder pages within the document? Just drag it up or down through the list. Want to group scans into a folder? Just drag one on another. You physically touch your scans to manage them and is it an amazing experience.

Want to learn more?

You can scan multi-page documents, protect documents with passwords, make industry standard PDF files and even preview them before sending.  When you’re ready to upload your scans, you can use MobileMe, iDisk, Box.Net, Humyo and any other WebDAV enabled online storage.  Dropbox, Evernote & GoogleDocs? Yep – you can upload your scanned documents there too!

To celebrate the re-launch of the #1 Business App in US, Italy, France, Australia, UK and 20 more countries recently! Readdle is giving away the NEW Apple iPad! Check out how you can win & download this necessary app for productivity on the go HERE!

Do More With Documents On The Go With The Remarks App {Review}

March 16th, 2012 by Christen

As a businesswoman on the go, there’s nothing I hate more than being restricted to conduct business indoors while stuck in front of a computer.  Successful professionals have one thing in common – the ability to conduct business as usual regardless of current location.  From the same company that brought you the PDF Expert app for the iPad (Read my review HERE.) now brings you Remarks, the iPad app that lets you write notes, draw and annotate on PDFs, books and more.

Remarks is more than just an editing app!  Sure you can draw, type notes within PDF documents, edit presentations & contracts on the go.  Recently, I’ve used the app for editing and filing contracts all in one location on my iPad making it easy to access, forward and email them while on the go.

But unlike PDF Expert, Remarks allows you to co-edit notes with other Remarks users (just like sharing Google docs except it’s on the go!)  This is a great app function for bloggers co-editing documents, sales professionals and entrepreneurs alike who work on a team and edit materials together.

I’ve used the Remarks app for editing & formatting articles during downtime and it’s a great alternative for writing notes and keeping them organized together. As a bonus, the Remarks app adjusts to your writing style (lefty’s rejoice!) and adjusts to your wrist better blocking the bottom toolbar and making edits a lot easier to manage.

The highlighting feature is perfect for noting important elements within contracts while eliminating the unnecessary jargon and text.

And just in case you’re stuck in a meeting and want to work on your Draw Something skills Remarks has a feature that’ll allow you to do just that.  Remarks functions as a sketch pad, allowing you to draw shapes, diagrams, markups and more using a stylus or the natural skills of your fingertips.

Available in the iTunes store for $4.99 the Remarks app by Readdle is definitely a cool app to add to your productivity repertoire.

Just three weeks ago, I was trapped on public transit working on a few documents under a deadline and stressing out.  In an attempt to return a few travel documents, I realized that using the PDF apps currently installed on my iPad – I was still unable to edit, save and email the documents in time.  In a panic, I tweeted:

Many responses led me to believe that there were no such apps available that could manipulate, edit and save pdf documents.  That is until, I randomly found out about Readdle’s PDF Expert available on iTunes for $9.99.

PDF Expert is the ultimate solution for all your PDF needs. Fill forms, annotate PDFs and sign documents on the go.  PDF Expert lets you read and edit PDF documents, highlight text, make notes, draw with your finger and save these changes which are compatible with Preview and Adobe Acrobat! Moreover, PDF Expert is the only iPad application that can fill in PDF forms!  PDF Expert can get documents from any place you may need: PDF files from the desktop computers, email attachments, documents on the Dropbox, MobileMe iDisk, GoogleDocs and even in other iPad applications.  How cool is this???  Can you believe that with PDF Expert, you can be a productivity pro while on the go?

Wondering about syncing documents?  With a single tap the whole folder can be two-way synced to the Dropbox, iDisk, SugarSync or any WebDAV storage.

You can even use iTunes file sharing to transfer files directly to your iPad via USB cable. As an alternative you can connect to the iPad running PDF Expert via Wi-Fi and use it like a wireless flash drive. No additional software is required.

Just when you thought working on the go was easy, it just got easier with the PDF Expert!  After downloading this app, I was able to edit, save and send off my documents with ease.  It’s the easiest and most useful PDF app on the market today, I guess that’s why it’s the expert…PDF Expert, that is.  But don’t take my word for it.  Check out these customer reviews below…
