The 2015 International CES was the largest and most amazing CES in show history, breaking all records as innovators across the show floor unveiled technology services that will solve world problems and improve lives. The 2015 CES wrapped as the largest show in history with more than 2.2 million net square feet of exhibit space featuring more than 3,600 exhibitors, including a record number of startups. Innovators showcased the latest across categories like automotive electronics, personalized health care solutions, unmanned vehicles, connected devices, 3D printers, gaming and more.
CES is the world’s gathering place for all who thrive on the business of consumer technology and this year more than 170,000 industry professionals, including more than 45,000 from outside the U.S. convened at the only event of its kind to engage in the hands-on experience of interacting with the next generation of technology.
After exploring thousands of innovative products, I’ve narrowed it down to my favorite four gadgets from CES that any techie would love below:
The Samsung 105” super ultra high def TV stole the show hands down. It’s the world’s first and largest HDTV that curves at the touch of a button. For such a novel TV, Samsung put out all the stops, including 4K resolution, quantum-dot technology for improved color and its Tizen-powered smart-TV platform. There is no price or ship date yet, although last year’s model cost about $260,000.
Air2 Floating Speaker
The Lenovo Selfie Flash is the must-have accessory for selfie lovers everywhere! The pocket-sized flash plugs into the audio jack & the rechargeable flash provides up to 100 selfies in a single charge. At $29 – there’s no news on if/when it’ll hit store shelves but it was definitely one of the biggest advancements to the selfie as “the filter” and “selfie stick”.
Selfie Flash – Perfect selfie shots every time, all the time
The Lenovo VIBE Xtension™ Selfie Flash is the must-have accessory to capture every moment, no matter the lighting conditions. The pocket-sized flash plugs into the audio jack, giving the user a quick way to create ideal lighting and shutter sync to deliver brilliant, natural-looking pictures outside, inside and everywhere in between. The Selfie Flash works by using 8 diffused LEDs to supplement available light for natural color tones, even in low light condition. The rechargeable flash provides up to 100 selfies in a single charge to snap and share pictures day and night, while the 100% shutter sync times seamlessly to capture picture-perfect selfies.

Mercedes Benz unveiled the beautifully futuristic F015 Luxury in Motion “car of the future”. The spacious silver bullet of a body was remarkably open inside, with rotating chairs for passengers that made it more akin to a futuristic lounge room than a car. The concept car is just merely a concept right now, but with basic connectivity standards such as mobile wifi-hotspots and innovative infotainment systems – this car of the future will certainly ensure that the future looks bright and luxurious.

The tablet market continues to grow by leaps and bounds this year, and many new versions were introduced last week at the 2012 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Some innovations to the tablet are major. Fujitsu’s tablet can be fully submerged in water for up to 30 minutes without any damage, while Lenovo’s tablet can easily be converted into a laptop with double the battery life. Looking for the Tablet best suited for you and your life? Check out a few that caught our eye and discover which tablet is best for you!
5. Fujitsu Arrows
Fujitsu Arrows 10.1-inch tablet, running on Android, can survive a dip in water—and full submersion for up to 30 minutes. The built-in camera can recognize hand gestures for operation even without directly touching the screen. As a result, smooth operation of the tablet PC is possible when preparing food and the user’s hands are not clean, or even when in the bathtub and user’s hands are wet.It has not yet been released in America, but it is being sold in Japan. For more on the Fujitsu Arrows, click HERE.
4. Lenovo Yoga
Yoga was that it was a fairly standard Lenovo ultrabook, that was until I saw its party trick, which saw the Yoga’s screen folding all the way back on itself to convert into Windows 8 tablet. Folding a notebook PC screen all the way back felt plain wrong and I was waiting to hear the sound of snapping plastic but as a tablet the Yoga felt great in hand and was very light to carry. For more on the Lenovo Yoga, click HERE.
3. Sony Tablet S
With two big bonuses outweighing the other tablets on this list….1. Flash enabled and 2. The 9.4″ touch screen, Wi-Fi®, universal IR remote, latest Android™ platform, Sony Entertainment Network with Music Unlimited, Video Unlimited and games for PS Certified devices. For more on the Sony Tablet S, click HERE.
2. Toshiba Excite X10
The Excite, a 10-inch Android tablet, is .3 inches thick and weighs 1.2 lbs. The screen supports a 1280 x 800 resolution and is coated with an anti-smudge surface. Inside, the tablet is running a 1.2 GHz dual-core Texas Instruments CPU and 1GB of RAM. It’s yet to be determined if the Android OS will be Honeycomb or Ice Cream Sandwich. For more on the Excite X10, click HERE.
1. Samsung Galaxy Note
It’s pretty much a tablet in terms of size, and it runs Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), a version of Android built for smartphones. But in my mind its more of a smaller tablet than a larger smartphone. For more on the Galaxy Note, click HERE.
These tablets definitely caught my attention during my time at CES – I’m looking forward to bringing you a detailed user experience with the Sony Tablet S fairly soon. The good people over at Sony provided me with a Sony Tablet S to play with and I’ll be bringing you a play-by-play experience on the device soon…stay tuned…

It was shortly after 6pm and excitement was buzzing through the island of Manhattan unlike anything else I’ve experienced.
It was Fashions Night Out and my set schedule was planned to the minute, who I’d hang out with, clients I’d go to see, celebrities I was bound to run into…the whole night was planned…that is, until 6:15pm rolled around…
“If you want to make God laugh…tell Him your plans…” – Unknown
My Fashions Night Out revolved around Fifth Avenue (aka the Mecca of NYC Fashion) from Drake at Versace to potent flutes of champagne at BCBG the ladies of DivasandDorks.com had a grand ol time – check out the pictorial of Fashions Night Out, through my eyes…
It began as a journey to Macy’s Herald Square…so up 34th we went…that is until club Famous Footwear grabbed our attention…no really, Famous Footwear had music blaring and a line down the street as if it was Ibiza…
Most stores lured you in with free food and drinks…(ding, ding…) – and the little pigs in a blanket served by the waitresses in overalls at Levi’s were divine…and yes, the piggies were grazing in a tray filled with grass…How cute!
Finally making it to the Fifth Avenue Lord & Taylor department store where not only the NFL Jets cheerleaders were found gyrating at the entrance – but also where the games and flutes of champagne seemed to overflow with participation from the crowds of consumers…
Finally, making my way to Saks Fifth Avenue (staying true to the Divas and Dorks mentality) we stopped by the Lenovo lounge where they launched the newest member of the Lenovo family laptop and highlighted a Lenovo favorite (mixing the music that kept the party going all night long…)…
Then there was Drake at Versace…
Onto the Coup De Grace of FNO entertainment, Bergdoff Goodman’s display windows came to life with live musical performances and interesting displays of fashion, flair and more…
Ending the the night, Tiffany, Cat Peoples and I made a stop into BCBG for some fly accessories, (more champagne) and more time with an old friend…
