Samsung Galaxy Note II Launch With Kanye West ROCKS NYC

No, it’s not Halloween….yet. However, if you’re notice droves of tech geeks, gadget girls and mobile execs lurking at a slower than normal and zombie-esque pace this morning, chances are that they rocked out with the Samsung Galaxy Note II and Kanye West the night before at Skylight at Moynihan Station in New York City, NY.
In celebration of “The Next Big Thing” Samsung Mobile enlisted the help of Kanye West to kick off the biggest mobile rave I’ve ever attended IN MY LIFE! Starting out early in the evening with the press preview, Kevin Packingham, chief product officer for Samsung Mobile U.S. revealed not only the expected Samsung Galaxy Note II – but also the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Camera (by AT&T). After revealing the performance specs that consumers could expect, guests were released into a themepark of Samsung Galaxy Note II experiences. There were a variety of experience to please everyone, including T-Shirt design station where guests could design, print & wear their very own t-shirt using the Galaxy Note II. The Maison Martin Margiela with H&M launch event was held at 5 Beekman in New York City and included a bevy of stars, designers and interesting art installations throughout the venue. With guests like Alexander Wang, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kanye West and more – fashionistas and fashionistos alike enjoyed a celebratory night of affordable fashion brought to you by Maison Martin Margiela and H&M.
Peppered with the deconstructed shapes and exaggerated proportions that the French fashion house is known for, the range is bound to please fans of the label. Ladies can expect oversized masculine jackets, loose-fitting trousers, outerwear folded origami-style and dresses that drape loosely across the body. The menswear is equally as covetable, with sharply-cut tailoring and coats – one that comes in white and features shearling detailing and another in two-tone grey and brown check.
The full collection will launch in H&M stores on November 15.

Kanye West Is Set To Perform At NYC Samsung Note II Event

While you’re waiting for the next big tech innovation, Samsung simply reminds you that “The next big thing is here” with a little performance by hip hop superstar Kanye West. As part of the Galaxy Note World Tour NYC, Samsung Mobile will properly announce the new Galaxy Note II (which if anything like the first Galaxy Note – we’re already in love with it). Followed by a “real world” interactive hands-on experience, giving users/media a chance to use the device and get a feel for all the bells and whistles. And at the end of the night, the celebration begins with a mini concert by G.O.O.D Music’s own – Kanye West.
The Galaxy Note II will be the first Samsung handset to launch running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The 5.5-inch phone has an HD Super AMOLED touchscreen, Samsung’s Exynos™ 1.6 GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of built-in storage that is expandable to 64GB with an optional microSD card. The phone will be available on five major carriers -– Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and US Cellular. Samsung Galaxy Note II will be available by the holidays, arriving in stores by mid-November.
Amidst the most recent Kanye-Kim K engagement rumors from their recent trip in Rome, it’s quite possible that Kim K would be making an appearance as well at Samsung’s event tomorrow evening, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
Paris Fashion Week: Wild Shoe Wednesday (Prelude) – Kanye West Shoes “Sexy As F***”

Kanye West shoes are getting all kinds of publicity lately. First his Giuseppe Zanotti collaboration has been seen on store shelves in Europe selling for almost $6,000, then it was announced that Kanye West designed the footwear for Aussie designer Dion Lee’s debut London presentation over the weekend. And now, according to GlamazonsBlog.com on the heels of his second Paris Fashion Week Runway Show – his footwear has already been labeled “Sexy As F***” by model Jourdan Dunn.
So what’s the fuss all about…well besides a runway filled with flying racecars zooming around the audience – take a look at them and several of the fashions hitting the runway yourself and let us know what you think?
