Make More Money By Selling Your iPhone 4 NOW!
October 3rd, 2011 by Tech Staff
Looking to sell your iPhone 4 and spend some of that money towards your new iPhone 5? SELL NOW!
According to CNN, beating the potentially millions of folks who will be buying a new iPhone and selling their old one could put more money in your pocket.
While some retailers offer discounts for a trade-in (Radio Shack was offering $100 for some previous models when the iPhone 4 was released), Apple stores and their designated carriers generally don’t give back as much cash, or credit, as an owner might earn outside the store.
But a growing online resell market has emerged to give folks another option.
Between now and Monday, the day before Apple has scheduled an iPhone-related event, one of those sites, Nextworth, is offering $250 for 16GB and 32GB iPhone 4s that are in good shape.
The company, which also has trade-in programs at some retail stores, bills itself as a way to get value out of your aging electronics while keeping the products out of landfills, where they can cause environmental problems.
Gazelle.com is offering $250 for a 32GB iPhone 4 in “flawless” condition and $169 for one in good condition. Got a busted model? It’ll give you $85 for one even if it won’t turn on or is physically damaged.
Of course, there are always the direct-sale sites like eBay and Craigslist. (I have a jailbroken iPhone 3GS that I’m willing to sale, but let’s face it, unless it’s an iPhone 4 or iPhone 5 – no one is even trying to hear it….lol.)
Five Reasons Why iPhone 4 Users Should Be Jealous Of The NEW iPhone 5
September 29th, 2011 by ChristenIt’s officially 5 days away from the long-awaited launch of the Apple iPhone 5 (Apple launch event will be held October 4th)! With anticipation growing as rapidly as the rumors are brewing, it’s only fair that I forwarn iPhone 4 users of the jealously that may ensue if you don’t upgrade to the iPhone 5. (Get ready to trade in those iPhone 4 devices and upgrade because I have 5 reasons why (upon release) iPhone 4 users will be particularly jealous of the iPhone 5 and it’s users everywhere…

5. It’ll have a new sleek and sexy design that’ll make the iPhone 4 look like an original iPod…(you iPhone 4 users know how you snub us iPhone 3GS carriers…payback’s a —- LOL)
4. The iPhone 5 will undoubtedly have faster processing power – which will totally outspeed and perform the iPhone 4 in all apps from Google Maps (and directions) to Tweets, it’ll keep you up to speed and saying “Whew, that was fast…” (Can anybody say A5?)
3. Say Cheese! Okay, you Android users may have had the first laugh when it came down to crisp, clear camera resolution worthy photos but with rumors of an added 8-megapixel camera and full 1080p video recording capabilities, but there’s no doubt that Apple iPhone 5 users will have the last laugh. (yay for instagram and all my other favorite photo sharing apps…)
2. Can you hear me now? The iPhone 5 is going to take voice-recognition apps to another level. Since acquiring Siri – Apple has saved this Ace of Spade for the right time… (I’m particularly curious to see how Apple will outshine the current voice-recognition market…the suspense is killing me…)
1. iPhone 5 will NOT be limited to AT&T, Verizon…did someone say Sprint? YES! More carrier options means more interaction with other coveted iPhone users…all you AT&T customers still sticking with your current plan… you should just be ashamed of yourself…LOL (Maybe now Apple can up the ante on market share against Android…here’s to hoping…)
Apple: It’s So Hard To Say Goodbye…
September 28th, 2011 by Tech Staff

With the anticipation of the Apple media event – October 4th fans are waiting with baited breath for the Apple iPhone 5 announcement & big reveal. But with new technologies emerging, there also comes a time to say goodbye to old technologies as well…
It has been rumored that Apple may also discontinue some of its popular products — the iPod classic and iPod shuffle.
Citing a source who is not an analyst, but someone familiar with the situation, The Unofficial Apple Weblog claims that the two legendary products are getting cut from Apple’s product portfolio sometime this year.
It’s hard to believe that it’s time to say goodbye to a product and gadget that started them all. Reminiscing about my first iPod back in 2005 (with the clicking wheel and everything) it makes you appreciate technology for how it’s created, evolves and ultimately creates more useful & productive technology for future generations.
As sad as I am to see the original iPod go, I’m secretly hoping that my unopened iPod shuffle becomes a collector’s item one day…*crosses finger*

Jobs Resigns: Is Apple Cooked?

How To Prepare Cooked Apple Crisp: For Full recipe click here….
For everyone else concerned with the future of Apple, Inc…read below
Amidst speculation of months of failing health, the unexpected happened yesterday evening – Steve Jobs resigned as Apple CEO.
(click here for full press release)
Now before you go selling your Apple stocks & shares, let us remind you that (as Jobs adequately puts it) “Apple’s brightest and most innovative days are ahead of it...” With a methodical succession plan in place, Tim Cook has been named new CEO of Apple. The question is, will consumers take to Apple’s new CEO? We’ve grown to love our Apple products as well as the genius minds behind them and quite honestly, the new role replacements will take some adjusting. We believe that Tim Cook has the knowledge and know-how to lead Apple, but will the excitement fade? Will Tim deliever the always anticipated Keynotes? Will there be a super-duper marketing plan to establish the changes on the horizon? Is Apple Cooked?
We may not have all the answers (yet), but we have the Top 5 Reasons Why Apple Will Be Just Fine.
TOP 5 REASONS WHY APPLE WILL BE JUST FINE…
5. This Isn’t New For Tim. Tim Cook has repeatedly stepped into the interim CEO role in the past (2004, 2009 and 2011).
4. With such a striking resemblance to Anderson Cooper, you can’t help but to trust him to do everything right. (C’mon Tim Cook DOES look like Anderson Cooper.)
Apple CEO Tim Cook and CNN’s Anderson Cooper
3. People are not going to stop buying iPads and iPhones because Steve Jobs has changed his role from CEO to Chairman of the Board.
2. iPhone 5 anyone? AT&T, Verizon & Sprint thinks so. With the new release available over all three carriers next month, Apple could see its largest sales quarter EVER!
1. With Apple’s greatest days & innovations ahead of us, we get to look forward to Anderson Cooper, I mean Tim Cook lead keynotes along with the bells & whistles that are meant to distract and soothe consumers into belief that everything will be just fine.
That’s our thoughts on the subject…what’s yours?
Sprint Becomes Newest iPhone 5 Carrier…
August 24th, 2011 by Christen
Sprint will join the ranks of AT&T and Verizon as the newest carrier to have the iPhone 5 available for consumers next month. The deal could help prop up the nation’s third largest carrier and give AT&T more ammunition in its attempt to “hurry up” and take over T-Mobile.
Acquiring the iPhone is a big win for Sprint (who sales have suffered greatly without being able to sell the trend-setting device.) Now that the playing field is becoming a bit more even for the “Big Three” – let’s see who makes the next move their best move…

New iPhone 5 Rumor *ALERT*
August 2nd, 2011 by Christen
********* *** Rumor Alert *** *********
September will be here along with the Apple iPhone 5 – before you know it! The rumor mill has been buzzing about the newest feature that could possibly come standard with the highly anticipated smartphone coming in less than 7 weeks.
Apple’s iPhone 5 will be able to recognise your face claims 9to5mac reporting that the iOS5 update accompanying the new phone will include facial recognition software.
Signficantly, third party apps will be able to build the facial recognition into their own apps.
Apple bought out Scandinavian firm Polar Rose and their facial recognition tech in 2010, If the iOS5 update is anything like Polar Rose’s other tech, it won’t just scan for the shape of your face, but will pick up how your eyes and mouth move too.

iPhone 5 Retro?
May 24th, 2011 by Christen
Fresh off the rumor mill, first there was an iPhone 5 then, there was not. Then there was an iPhone 4s, then there was not. Now that the iPhone 5 rumor has resurfaced, we’re looking at the possibility of a curved glass display, similar to that of the older generation iPod Nano.
The next generation iPhone has already faced delays (its usual Summer launch date is expected to be pushed back into Fall), and a curved glass display could be another culprit: Digitimes is reporting that Apple is still trying to secure suppliers and glass cutters to manufacture the new glass design.
Handsets, like the Nexus S, already use a curved glass display for comfort. And while the iPhone 5 is said to be sticking to the same design as the iPhone 4 overall, there will be minor changes to take note of.
