MBFW: Carlos Miele’s into the tropics…

The awe inspiring combinations of teals, creams and golds throughout the runway collection gave me hope for the Spring and even more and desire to fast forward to April 2012 – just so I could wear these looks now. As one of my favorite looks, you’ll definitely see me wearing these color combinations sooner than later…
The official color of Spring/Summer 2012 is…..DRUMROLL….. Orangesicle. This combination of an island orange and coral is rich and creamy (like an orangesicle, of course.) I planed on seeing this shade alot on the runways as well as the racks by next season, but why wait? Fuse this shade in your wardrobe now with accompanying layered colors and usher the color of the moment into next year in style…
This tropical hue of teal brings to life beautiful waters of the Caribbean along side of idealist neutrals of sandy beaches…(I’m feeling a vacation coming on soon…)
Carlos Miele’s runway show exemplified the idealistic look and feel of Spring and Summer with wispy designs, fashion forward colors and overall look and feel that ushered the tropics under the tents and onto the runways…
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Announces Lineup

It’s officially less than a month away and the Spring 2012 Mercedes Benz Fashion Week show line up has been announced. There’s an impressive list of new and returning designers that are prepared to show their latest collection at Lincoln Center to hundred of thousands of fashion industry professionals, insiders and VIPs.
“New York City is the fashion capital of the world, and from September 8th – 15th Lincoln Center will become the heartbeat of the city,” says Peter Levy, SVP Managing Director, IMG Fashion Worldwide. ”Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, the city’s single largest media event, is proud to offer some of the biggest names in fashion, as well as young and emerging talent, an unsurpassed platform to debut their Spring 2012 Collections.”
