In just a few hours, Apple is going to blow your mind and make news headlines announcing its’ new additions to the already epic lineup. It’s a tech press holiday and we’re ready for Apple to “loop” us in to what’s new, what’s now and what’s next from Cupertino. Let’s talk iPads, iPhones and Apple Watches shall we? We’ve combed through the rumors and image leaks and scored some exclusive details of what’s launching at today’s Apple event below!
Software Updates for everyone
In case you haven’t been keeping track, Apple has already pushed seven beta versions of iOS 9.3 to testers. At this point, we’d say the company is very close to pulling the final build out of the oven. And really, what better opportunity to show off new features like Night Shift (which adjusts the screen by reducing blue light and enhancing “warmer” colors when it’s dark) and Touch ID protection for Notes.app than with a new iPhone. Then again, iOS 9.3 is also said to pack an improved dashboard for Apple Health and expanded support for 3D Touch gestures on first-party apps, so there’s a little something for everyone here.
Say hello to a smaller iPhone
If the latest iPhones still feel a bit large and cumbersome in your hands and pockets, you’re in luck! We’ve seen the new images of the latest iPhone with a 4-inch display and a design that reminds you of the old iPhone 5 (remember those?) While the outside may look familiar, the inside will likely have the A9-M9 chip combo that powers the iPhone 6s. Be on the look out for a 12-megapixel camera that shoots LIVE photos and 4K video, along with a Touch ID sensor and NFC for Apple Pay. The question is, will it or won’t it come equipped with 3D Touch? It will certainly be less expensive than the iPhone 6s – so expect a few shortcomings for the newer, smaller iPhone SE.
When the iPad Pro first launched, we were amazed at the robust features packed into the large tablet. It rivaled many Apple Air notebooks and didn’t take off as expected due to it’s large 12.9 inch size. Well today, Apple is expected to launch a smaller version of last year’s iPad Pro with a 9.7-inch display. The new iPad will feature a fast A9X chipset, speakers etched into each corner and a Smart Connector to provide access for keyboard cases and other accessories. One more thing – expect to see an LED flash on the new portable iPad Pro – it’ll make portable photography that much better.
Apple Watch Updates
The Apple Watch could possibly be the biggest update of them all. We’re expecting a new software update, a handful of new bands and dare we say – a new Apple Watch? Starting with the software, Watch OS 2.2 will allow users to link multiple watches to a single iPhone, plus a bigger and better Maps interface. As far as the new Apple bands “loop” in, we’re expecting to see more Hermes bands and newer Milanese loop band options too. Could we see a refreshed version of the Apple Watch with a FaceTime camera? We certainly hope so, but just like you – we’ll be waiting to see what’s unveiled later today.

Now that the new iPad Pro has been unveiled, it has a lot of corporate types and entrepreneurs thinking about upgrading to the new tablet in November. What about you? Thinking about the new iPad Pro replacing your Macbook or pc? Given the bigger display, many will compare this device with the 12-inch retina MacBook. But the main difference is that these two devices run two very different operating systems — OS X and iOS.
The iPad Pro also features a front and rear camera, two speakers both at the top and the bottom of the device (four speakers in total). And of course, you also get a Lightning port, a headphone jack, side buttons, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Optionally, you can buy a cellular model with LTE. As the MacBook doesn’t come with a cellular chip, this is another differentiating factor with Apple’s laptop.
The iPad Pro is going to be available in November — 32GB for $799, 64GB for $949 and 128GB for $1,079. The $1,079 comes with Wi-Fi and cellular. The keyboard is going to cost $169 and the stylus is going to cost $99 — proving that productivity on the go with the new iPad Pro won’t be cheap anytime soon.

Apple’s Unveiling The New iPhone RIGHT NOW! (PLUS 5 #AppleEvent Innovations The World Will Be Talking About) [LIVE BLOG]September 9th, 2015 by Christen
Let’s go! It’s September 9th and there’s no better day than our (6th year anniversary) than to spend our afternoon salivating over today’s Apple Event announcements. This could be one of the biggest Apple events ever, happening right now in San Francisco. Apple CEO Tim Cook may introduce as many as three new phones (including an iPhone 6S), a redesigned Apple TV set-top box and a 12.9-inch, business-friendly iPad tablet.
While rumors abound, do not expect a radical redesign of the iPhone. We’ll learn release dates for iOS 9 and the OS X update El Capitan; the Apple Watch is getting some stage time, too, with WatchOS 2.

The Apple Watch Sport is currently available in silver and space gray. It didn’t really make sense not to have a gold option for gold iPhone owners. For those who want a matching watch, rejoice! Apple heard you. You can now buy a gold Apple Watch Sport in its full aluminum glory.
When it comes to the new bands, Apple is partnering with Hermès on a new collection. It starts with a new hand-stitched leather “double tour” band. This band is going to be available in select stores in October.
It looks and feels like a bigger iPad Air, with an aluminium casing, thin bezels and curved edges. It features a 2,732 x 2,048 display that lets you display more stuff. For instance, you are now able to take advantage of the recently announced split-screen multitasking to run two apps side by side with very few compromises. It’s also a great device to take advantage of the picture-in-picture video playback feature in iOS 9. Starting at $799 – it’ll be available online and in stores come November!
iPad Pro – Apple Pencil
Apple also announced a smart keyboard accessory, which looks a lot like the Surface keyboard cover. You connect it to your iPad Pro thanks to a new smart connector on the side, as well as the Apple Pencil, a stylus. Priced at $99 it’ll be available online and in stores come November!
iPad Pro with Microsoft Office
Today’s Apple Event wouldn’t be complete without guests! And Apple invited Microsoft executive to talk productivity on the go! Microsoft’s goal is to make the best apps it can and to get as many people using them so that it can sell them some of its more specialized services. Office has long been the go-to suite of productivity tools, and — while they debuted on the iPad a bit late — Microsoft is still pushing for Office to take that role in the tablet world as well. So far there’s no obvious winner in the tablet productivity world, and having a great choice will be important once the iPad Pro is released.
One of today’s most anticipated Apple event announcements is the new Apple TV. Apple Tv is making it easy and exciting to watch tv again. From exclusive digital content to the unique remote – the Apple TV may become your favorite entertainment device later this year. Apple TV Pricing: 32gb $149 64gb $199
iPhone 6s / 6s Plus
So what’s new with the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus? It responds to the pressure of your finger and totally changes the way you use your device. It shoots 4k video. Now your screen is the flash. You can get it in rose gold. Your photos move now and the price is the same as the original iPhone 6 and 6+… starting at $199 and offering installment plans – it’s pretty much a great new deal on a new iPhone and all available September 25.
Stay tuned for more in depth details on today’s Apple event announcements including the new Apple Watch colors/accessories, iPad Pro, Pencil, Apple TV and iPhone 6s / 6s Plus later today.

Hey Apple fans! Are you ready for the latest installment of iPhone devices? It’s that time of year again. Apple’s next iPhone event will take place on September 9th at 10AM PT, live at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. This is expected to be the unveiling of the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, which are reported to have 4K video capabilities, upgraded 12-megapixel cameras and front-facing flash, among other new features.
Yet another feature that’s been on Android for years might be finally making its way to the iPhone: animated wallpapers! Specifically, Apple is reportedly planning to bring over the elegant “Motion” Apple Watch faces to the iPhone 6S, according to 9to5Mac. So far, those Apple Watch screens include things like swimming jellyfish, blooming flowers and fluttering butterflies that pop up when you check the time. For the iPhone 6S, sources say Apple is working on animated screens featuring koi fish swimming around a pond and moving smoke. The big difference between Apple’s approach and what we’ve seen on Android so far: It sounds like it’s focusing on just animating lock screens. That should add for a cool effect when you wake up your phone, but without eating up battery life like a moving wallpaper on your home screen. We may even see something about force-touch iPhones.
The event invite doesn’t share much, as usual, but features the tease, “Hey Siri, give us a hint.” We just asked Siri and she isn’t hinting much of anything these days. Maybe that’ll change come September 9th, in the meantime are you looking forward the next iPhone? Share your thoughts below!
Today is the day that Apple enthusiasts have been waiting for. In a matter of moments the smartphone and technology industry will wait for the latest news from Apple that is rumored to include a next generation, larger screen iPhone, wearable smart watch and possibly more. Typically Apple hasn’t been all that great surprising fans with the latest advancements (thanks to leaked photographs, patent slip ups and loose journalistic lips spilling the beans well before an Apple executive steps onto the big stage.) However, could today be the day that we’re all stunned and surprised?

So what should you expect coming from the Apple giants? A new iPhone, iPad Air and iWatch respectively. According to Time Magazine, all signs point to two new iPhone models, a 4.7-inch version and a 5.5-inch version curvaceous designed smartphones. There will reportedly be a one-handed mode that rejiggers the interface slightly so you can reach everything (Samsung has a similar feature on some of its larger phones). Alongside the new iPhones, Apple will reportedly be rolling out its followup to the iPad Air. It’s believed to be similar in design to the previous model, with the addition of a faster processor, the iPhone 5s’ fingerprint sensor and a gold color option. Apple will reportedly be showcasing its long-rumored smartwatch, though it’s believed the device won’t be available for purchase until next year. Features apparently include a curved, rectangular screen made of impact-resistant sapphire crystal, tap-to-pay functionality, 8GB of storage, health-tracking sensors and two screen sizes.
Apple CEO Tim Cook and friends will unveil Apple’s holiday gadget lineup. The event begins at 1:00 p.m. EDT/10:00 a.m. PDT.
