Is Facebook Working on an Instagram Version of Vine To Launch On June 20th?

We've seen Instagram's popularity. A new player is in town called Vine. With Vine users can share 6 second clips. As many users describe it, Vine is "like Instagram on Video". Apparently Instagram isn't just happy handling your photos as they may be seeking to finally get into the video-sharing game. According to the sources over at TechCrunch
, Facebook has been working on an Instagram version of Vine to add to the popular filtered photo sharing network.
Coincidentally, Facebook is holding a 'Big Ideas' event this Thursday, June 20th where the new service could be unveiled. The invitation reads: “A small team has been working on a big idea.” .“Join us for coffee and learn about a new product.
This isn't completely far-fetched concept as Vine has already surpassed Instagram in daily shares. Vine is Twitter's video-sharing service that was unveiled back in January for iOS only and recently
made its way to Android. Facebook & Instagram isn't taking this laying down. There's a market of "like Instagram on Video" apps that is rapidly rising. While Vine seems to be the most interesting, there are other apps such as Viddy, and Cinemagram
